'FaceS in my HeaD' is an ongoing project of illustrated faces from Jain's head, where she uses the traditional Persian Ogee as a template to generate an intuitive mashup of comic characters, family and friends, people encountered on the street, animals, mythological beings, objects and so on.
The tapestry is hand embroidered by women artisans in Kashmir, India using the Ari / Crewel technique. Appropriate for the wall or the floor.
